Protecting Oak Creek Preserve Through Community Action
Save Oak Creek: Save Irvine is an independent grassroots campaign started by Irvine residents who want real action to protect the Oak Creek Golf Club site.
After being excluded from Save Irvine Open Space, we launched our own effort on October 14, 2025 to demand a full public vote on the entire property — no backroom deals that trade our last central open space for 2,500 homes disguised as a “Nature Park.”
We are focused on enforcing the 1988 voter-approved Open Space Initiative (88-1), stopping any weakening of protections through zone changes or MOUs, and keeping Oak Creek green for families, golfers, seniors, kids, and wildlife. We welcome every Irvine resident and group who wants to preserve our open space.
